Cube 3

Cube 3 was the first 3D printer I bought (23/3 2015). It is a proprietary printer, in the sense that the filament it uses is proprietary. The extruder (print head) sits on the filament, which makes it about twice as expensive as open source filament (see Wanhao Duplicator 4S). Cube 3 supports to filaments at the same time, making an object with two colors possible.

Its size is W34 X D22.5 X H34 cm, and build size is 15.2 X 15.2 X 15.2 cm. In addition to a pleasant look, it is extremely simple to use. The calibrations are normally automatic and the print parameters are given by the filament, the type of which is read by a chip on the filament. I would say that the printer is what in Norwegian is "selv mor can".

The software that comes with Cube 3 (cube_print) is also proprietary and is also very easy to use. If You saw the picture, You saw two filaments there. If the software is connected to the printer (via WIFI), the filaments become the filaments of the printer (with the ammount left). You drag the filament you want to use to the printer. Then you can alter the size of the object as you will. There is no intricate details to specify.
